During our stay in Ventnor, the local Co-op was our favourite place to shop for groceries. Good choice of fresh items (summer fruits, vegetables, bread, food ready for cooking or heating...) and other types of products. We were lucky enough to grab a pack of Tyrrells limited edition crisps, they were lovely. It is conveniently located, very close to the bus stop. There is also a parking at the back of the shop. We enjoyed the large range of opening hours. The staff may seem busy at all times, but some of them are actually very helpful.

Although fairly small store it has plenty of variety if goods. Aisles accommodate 2 trolleys with no space in between them. Staff are helpful . Has all of the basics you need. Their Jersey potatoes have an excellent taste. Good value for money. They do deliver..

Self service checkouts never work properly and in fact today (08/07/2024) none of them were working and only 2 maned checkouts were working and for a busy Saturday a very long wait, I think in general the whole store is a shambles.

Good range of everything you could possibly need for all your day to day household needs plus treats, all at reasonable prices which is great for local people & holidaymakers alike. I did find service very slow tonight as one poor lady was all on her own with a massive queue to serve, fortunately I did find this store has self serve machines whilst waiting, so I got out of the queue & was able to serve myself, fantastic!

Good selection of food and friendly helpful staff BUT the prices are much higher in general than their Shanklin Branch. We have always been penalized by this Pier Street Branch whoever has owned it in the past too.
