Wow! What a wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch, just want to say a huge thank you to the team who looked after us 8 booked in at 2.30. We all had a fabulous meal the photos won’t do it justice but everything we had was beautifully cooked and they even catered for Gluten free, my partner is coeliac she had the chicken supreme, (my only thing and it’s not a criticism but lots of places don’t offer, GF Yorkshire pudding or cauliflower cheese two really easy things to make, yorkies made in advance and kept in the freezer and cauliflower cheese swap out the flour for cornflour) like I say it’s not a criticism but if you see the coeliacs persons face light up when they know they’re catered for makes a huge difference) anyway back to our Sunday birthday lunch, first visit for years and it was fantastic definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu. Had my baby shower Sunday lunch here in the private room and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff, the private space, the food and drink, the attentiveness - 10/10 and so very grateful! Highly recommend for private bookings up to 20, or just any meal - always so good!

Fantastic food. This has become our favourite place to eat. All the food we ordered was amazing, desserts are all home made and incredible. The service was faultless, really attentive and so friendly. Food was well priced and more than worth it. We averaged £35pp with 1 drink and main and a dessert. We cant wait to return

I have eaten there two nights in a row. Lovely little dining room with a pub room separate. The menu is diverse, modern, and has all classics (but elevated). The food was perfect. Fresh, flavorful, and presented well. Big kudos to the chef and the staff there for what they are making for this quiet little town. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

Wow! The service, the ambience, the quality of food and value for money in this place is up there with the very best. I'm a pizza snob. We have been here before and it's always been decent, but tonight? Staggeringly good. Alex the manager (I'm presuming she was the manager and if she's not she should be) was so helpful and attentive. We originally sat outside and Alex said she would put the patio heaters on. In the end it still got a bit chilly so we came inside and sat by a wonderful log fire. We ordered a pizza to share and as they're made on site were able to tinker a bit with the toppings. One half margarita and the other half with mushrooms and truffle oil. You don't get that at Wetherspoons! The pizza is in my all time top ten. The wine was bang on too. Not visited for a few years( not their fault) and was very happy to see the same chiefs creating imaginative takes on traditional and contemporary dishes. All four of us agreed the best meal of the year. Staff attentive but not intrusive, also showed good knowledge of dishes and drinks. Happy to help with suggestions when appropriate. Food very tasty with multiple flavours and nicely presented. Will be back soon, can't say much more than that.

A lovely welcoming village pub, with car parking, a lovely outdoor area with a pizza oven and the best Sunday lunches. We dined here as a group of 17 in their private dining room for my husbands 40th birthday, and they couldn’t do enough to help. The food was delicious. I had many compliments from everyone about the dinner. The kids even took some of their pizza home and it was nice the next day! I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much!

I frequent often. Best wings in town. I stick to the buffalo but there are multiple favours. Food is modern and fresh, almost like a cross between fine dining and the modern street food pop up culture, full of flavour but elevated and presented, and on a plate obviously! Lots of Asian inspired dishes. Anything on bread there is great made fresh from their pizza oven, if you like a little spice try the chicken flat bread! A*! Wide range of drinks, Oil is winner for me. Not the cheapest but by far worth it in regard to all menus there. Will be going back for the 100th time soon! All the staff are great, the owner Henry should be proud!
