Neston Farm Shop and Kitchen

Nice little farm shop with very good cake. Also pretty scenic and recommend when you're in the area as well as the walk to it (expect muddy boots!) It's medium prices for food and drink, and is fairly expensive in places throughout the shop. However, that being said, produce is good quality and local

Fantastic selection of cooked food - breakfast, lunches. Plus a great selection of cakes, smoothies. And of course, the spirit of the place .. very friendly staff. The place has a fantastic indoor / outdoor seating area. There's also an outdoor play area children will love. Also worth checking out is the great selection of local produce in the farm shop.

This is a very nice little farm shop,with a good selection of produce from veg to cheeses,meats,drinks and gifts.There is also the cafe what has a good menu to choose from.With outside seating,play area for the children and a nature trail to walk.We gave this a miss because of the weather it was very wet,we will go back on a nicer day to take the walk.We had something to eat and drink in the cafe and bought some lovely free range eggs and a nice piece of fruit cake.

What a great place for Breakfast (or just a morning coffee) We arrived around 11am on a Saturday morning to find the car park full (we found a place eventually) and the premises very busy (all the tables were occupied and there were 12 people in the queue!) Nonetheless the staff were extremely helpful, letting us know the expected waiting time and offering to reserve a table for us as soon as it was available. In the end we sat down only 15 minutes later and ordered breakfast of 3 x Avocado and poached eggs (with one well done). They got the order wrong but it was rectified without us asking, without fuss and at no charge. The food was delicious and the portions generous - great value. The coffee is also top notch! All in all a brilliant place.

I would say this is one of the best farm shops you will come across. The food produce available here is some of the finest for sale anywhere. The staff are polite and diligent, the layout spacious and interesting and children friendly. Its a perfect meeting place for business or pleasure or just for a quiet coffee in comfort... a real gem!

Lovely building and outside seating / play area. There is always a great selection of cakes and icecreams, but the cooked food is consistently not quite as good as you'd expect. Latest example, we had burgers here on Sunday which were dry and served with a very odd side salad of cauliflower and onion?! Cheese was extra.

As farm shops go, this is fine but certainly not the best in the area. For families, there is a decent enclosed play area outside with ride on cars but no swing or slide etc. The food is good but not great and there's just one toilet with baby change. There are usually pigs to see and lambs in the field and the setting is lovely. The shop is small and has its own butcher counter. However, I was disappointed to see they were selling chicken that wasn't free range (and wasn't clearly marked as such) so make sure you ask if this also matters to you.
