Food is delicious, but delivery is consistently awful. I’ve put up with it so far because when the food does eventually arrive, it is always tasty. On this occasion, though, we’ve waited over 2 hours for our food. When I called the shop to enquire as to its whereabouts (after it was already 30 minutes late) I was told that the driver was “just leaving”. We’ve had these issues with delivery for over 6 months now. We’ve been loyal customers but if you can’t rely on your food turning up when it’s supposed to, it’s time to move your business elsewhere.

Ordered a family meal,everything extremely salty. Prawn sesame toasts seemed to be made from reconstituted chicken, absolutely vile. Used to be a lovely takeaway.

Can't comment on food yet as still waiting ..ordered nearly 3 hours ago. Alot of money spent on this order,nearly £70.phoned 40 times ,left message on answer phone..

Not the same as it used to be which is a shame. Used to be a great Chinese! Also they forgot to send our chicken curry!

Ordered food via Just Eat, having a new kitchen fitted so no oven, and built in microwave not fitted yet,,,,,,delivery took almost 2 hrs, an hour more than promised,,,Phoned to ask where meal was and was told abruptly it’s on its way…it arrived 25 mins later Stone cold…We live a five minute drive away.Food was binned as no way to re heat it. Complained to Just Eat to be told they don’t compensate for cold food, but gave me a good will reimbursement of just under half the cost, £9.80… meal was £22.00 inc delivery.

Ordered to try new menu and was very happy and surprised. House special chow mien was really tasty, much nicer than the last menu. Salt and pepper chilli chips were amazing, mixed with actual onions and peppers. House special in black bean sauce also really nice. Reasonably priced and generous portion size.

I was very surprised to hear that they have changed hands recently. We've been coming here for years because it was simply the best chinese takeaway around. First time trying since under new management tonight and I can honestly say the quality was comparable to before but the style and flavours are obviously different now. Personally I preferred it before the take over but that is not to say that it was bad in anyway. Just a matter of personal taste.
