I recently moved to the Hartford area for work from living in a rural area on a farm. I really miss the taste of farm raised meat & dairy. This places does not disappoint. Worth every penny! Prices are very fair too considering you are getting farm raised food. Great spot!

I finally stopped by Hayes Farm today. After the hundreds of times driving by and always wanting to stop…I’m SO glad I finally did. As you walk in you’re greeted by the friendly cashier and cool A/C. The selection is good- all the basics for a great salad/dinner. The freshly made ice cream, fresh butter, eggs, milk, jams, pickles, peppers and homemade soaps were great. I really love the fresh meat selection: bacon, beef, chicken, sausage, soup bones, goat etc. The energy there is warm and welcoming, the prices are super reasonable and the products are spectacular… Support local farms and reap the healthy rewards! 5 stars all the way

This place is indeed good and they have a welcoming attitude.. Though the prices are quite high may be to support the local farmers.. We went for live chicken and they said they will give live chicken

Amazing fresh food milk and ice cream the prices are higher but that's only because your getting the best freshest food and it worth every penny don't let that fool you family owned support our local farmers they are older and even ask if I wanted help to the car they are very knowledgeable and customer friendly and appreciative I can't say how amazing they are help them out

What a gem! Lovely people! A farm that feeds only grass to its cattle and offers the meat in various fabulous packages! Also homegrown are pork, chickenand goat! Really fresh eggs! 🐣 Icelandic yogurt, maple syrup(?), Amish jellies! Support local business! 🌸🌸🌸

Stopped by after noticing an open sign hanging in the window. Was greeted by the friendliest people, one of which gave me the grand tour. Love being able to support a local farm, bought some Hot Italian Sausage and brisket. Made two absolutely fantastic dinners with them. I know my new go to spot for meats!

Found this little gem at the beginning of the pandemic and so happy that I did. Fresh milk in glass bottles, ice cream from Tulmeadow Farm (a place I grew up near and was so happy to find a place near me that sold it ever since I moved) and animals wandering the premise made me fall in love. I do wish they had different hours they were open during the week, or at least some days since it is often hard to stop in. Otherwise, if you are looking to support a local business and get truly fresh food right from local farms/small businesses….definitely a place to stop at.

First trip there today. It will be the first of many. Great quality meats at very fair prices. I eas able to stock up on a months worth for under $200. Very happy and impressed. Keep up the great work Hayes Farms! Take it from me RG it's worth the trip!
