Spent our anniversary here, lovely decor and location, food was delicious piping hot and perfect sized portions, couldn’t fault. Service was good despite having to cope with a large party also happening on table beside us. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

Fresh, tasty food and a lovely countryside view. Mostly self-service but still a 10% service charge, which was a surprise as I had to order from the bar and take the cutlery to the table. Still, great atmosphere and I’d happily return.

Had a nice meal here. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The food was presented well and tasty. Personally I prefer the background music to be quieter as everywhere we sat, there was a speaker close to us. The pub is well decorated with a modern countryside style. There is an optional 10% tip added to the bill. The carpark is big and free of charge. Nice large outdoor covered drinking area which is great for summertime drinking. I would like to see dietary requirements codes on the menu for easier reading. Otherwise I would recommend this restaurant to visitors of the New Forest.

Such a great place to come for a Sunday afternoon! We turned up just after the kitchen closed, but the staff and manager made every effort to get me and my daughter served and that is amazing service. Really brilliant staff!

We went to the New Queen for a family meal out. Having been given rave reviews by friends. They weren't wrong. On arrival, we were met by friendly, welcoming staff. The place was busy but the staff were all friendly and took time to provide excellent service. The food was outstanding with very generous portions. We all agreed this was a 10 out of 10 evening. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back soon.

First time coming here and will definitely be coming back!! The food was incredible (the pork belly was the most easy to cut, buttery soft pork I’ve ever had!) We were served each course efficiently - dessert came out about 5 mins after ordering it, although it wasn’t super busy so this is likely why. Our server, Oisin, was so friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome and was all around a very pleasant young man! £81 for a 3 course meal for 2 (shared one dessert). Highly recommend this place, will be returning in the future! Thank you!

Went for our anniversary meal and had the steak, cooked perfectly and the sides were an amazing accompaniment; the onion rings and phenomenal. Got served by Kieran who was an excellent host and went out of the way for us during our visit. Lovely man! Would 100% recommend and also recommend the roast on a Sunday which we have had before. Been visiting for 3 years and will continue to come back time and time again!
