Rhode Island Coffee

I think the high turnover of staff at this place has really affected the quality of service, the quality of drinks and the overall experience. Long wait times, really bad quality drinks, staff with little to no customers service skills. My last visit I was told at 16:45pm I was unable to have a latte because the shop was closing soon, when I asked could I have it as a take away the member of staff tutted and said I’ve just cleaned and turned the machine off. Will not be returning.

Busy menu (i.e. not easy to read or identify information), staff attempt to be helpful but are not very well trained and don't really have the basics down (which is all I personally really want), syrups are artificial tasting (in a bad way) and the coffee, given it's 'handcrafted' and not a Costa machine, is pretty bitter. Food is overpriced and not worth it when you have quite a few local, independent food stalls right next door at the Indoor Market.

What can I say about my visit, well the only positive is the venue itself, great location and setting. It’s just a shame the service was slow and appalling, the drinks weren’t right first time, second time we were given dirty cups. Tables were left uncleared for a long time even though the shop was quiet. Expected more from a place that charges as much as it does. Also noticed a label on the cream bottle being used for my hot chocolate that was 2 days out of date. Not good enough.

A lovely, centrally located spot in Chorley to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat, with a nice selection of paninis and cakes. Charming interior and truly exceptional service!

One of the best coffees in Chorley. Love the flavour and it is always great. Partial to a a toasted tea cake and jam. Great little place to relax.

Been thinking of going in for a while, wish I had. Clean lovely atmosphere and 1st class staff. And ofcourse the coffee is excellent.
