Absolutely fabulous food, amazing service and a brilliant atmosphere. Always feel looked after here, came as a party of 3 and a dog, everyone loved their food and the drinks on a canal side location. Great service from Emma and Ahmet.

Been here a couple of times now while staying at premier Inn next door. Superb location right next to canal. Fantastic outdoor beer garden & courtyard. Good beers. Friendly staff. Definitely visiting again soon when staying next door again. Little lad loved the duck's.

Well what can I say, this has to be one of the best Sunday dinners I've had for a very long time, it was that good we went back the Sunday after!! Staff were amazing, it is a beautiful location, so this weekend we are going to try out the Saturday menu and I know we won't be disappointed. The only small disappointment was on the Sunday lunch menu online that I downloaded for the family to mull over it states it comes with swede mash, a favorite of my daughter, but when we received the menu on the day this item had been removed and that was a bit disappointing for a few of the family. The bread and chive butter as a complimentary taste bud teasers was a very nice touch. Well done to a quality restaurant 👏👌

Great place. Outdoor seating by the canal, garden or covered patio area. Doesn't feel like a chain, traditional cosy pub atmosphere inside. Attentive staff. Good variety of food, plenty vegetarian choices. Well priced. Please bring back the halloumi fries, best ever!

100% top marks for AHMET!! I'm autistic woman who has hearing condition called hyperacusis, which means going into restaurants I need to avoid sitting under a speaker that's playing loud music as I have acute hearing and feel the music rather than hearing the words singing by vibration or decibels of sound. So on arriving with my friends I asked if it was possible to sit somewhere without a speaker above me or directly at me and explained I'm autistic, the fella on the desk part where he was issuing tables said he would turn the music down as unfortunately there was a lot of speakers all over the seating area, they turned the sound down. A lady who was sat directly under one speaker said to me "thank you" as the music was upsetting her as it was so loud and she didn't have a hearing issue. We seated, my friends ordered their food with Ahmet I explained to him I am on mounjaro injections and have limited food tastes due to being autistic and he couldn't do enough to help me. He spoke to the chef, they agreed on a small amount of money for the items off the menu and I thoroughly enjoyed the main meal. Now the dessert for me let it down as mine wasn't cooked properly, the base of the Bakewell slice was soggy like it wasn't cooked or wasn't defrosted properly, so that did take away a star from this review. But Ahmet!!! What a lovely gentleman he was, all restaurants need to hire someone as kind and attentive as he is. He was patient, understanding, he was very relatable. The yummiest 'pepper and brandy sauce' I've ever tasted. Thank you all for making a disabled woman feel accepted and not as many restaurants make me feel.

Good food, staff really nice and friendly and great service. Only thing was the booking, over the phone and automated and could only get late evening bookings. Whilst there though we sat and had a pre meal drink which was nice, but noticed a few tables available for an earlier sitting. Non the less, lovely evening and a great place.
