A large and well stocked co-op with Amazon locker Miya in the car park. Clean, and (idoors at least), well lit with a large selection available for purchase. Staff are super unobtrusive, at times you feel on your own in there. Feels like there's a little disarray around the til area, not sure why given the available space. However the car park is dark and on this season, rather underlit. Trip hazards abound, I stumbled over a kerb that was hidden under the vast amount of slippy autumn leaves that cover the car park. To prevent accidents and litigation they really ought make sure it is swept regularly and looked after, maybe with better lighting.

It's great store. I have been going there for years since I was a primary school student. This store has always been a great store to go to and great staff always friendly to talk too.

As soon as I walk into this Coop (pronounced coop as in hen coop LOL) I hear the tinkling ivories of the theme tune to the American 1980s TV show Cheers — sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name 🎶 🎹 This is because the staff are so friendly and helpful — Nicola, Yvonne and The Jaynes to namecheck just a few. The staff offer a kind of customer care where giving you the shirt off their back is just part of the service, especially noticeable in this the Age of Corona. Their own brand of kid’s nappies are utterly adorable, even though they are quite a lot more expensive than ALDI (£4 for 27 versus £5 for 72). The sometimes higher prices for more stylish and classier products make me feel like I am shopping in a down-to-earth Waitrose. Thank you for helping to keep a reassuring food and drink supply going in the village during these tumultuous times. I might even become a member this year 🤓 Nikki Wordsmith

It is a co-op convenience store, with all the usual range of stuff and opening hours one would expect. Conveniently located on a main road, with common items conveniently located near the tills, the only oddity is that a wheelchair Access ramp at the entry makes for a very fun switchback for kids on wheelies or skateboards (only attempt of ramp not in proper use!) - five stars. Also, queue time usually low as the staff here are usually just plentiful enough to avoid the queues.

Decent little Coop store, with optional membership card and app for discounts. Prices seem high compared to major supermarkets. This is quite a large store, so isn’t open until late on Sundays like some some smaller Coop stores. A facelift a few years ago saw the store entrance moved to the car park side, which means either climbing up a steep flight of steps or meandering up the excruciatingly long ramped entrance. Both are less than ideal. Staff are friendly and there are plenty of self service tills, but usually only one cashier on.

Good opening hours (I do miss the little one at the bottom of the village), good range of stock and generally pleasant and helpful staff. One bug bear - the self service tills keep irritatingly stopping for no good reason requiring staff intervention. A constructive comment if the manager reads reviews - please enforce disabled parking, there are always cars without badges there when I visit.
