Excellent food and service! Some of the best calamari I’ve eaten. We had a NY Strip and the low country bowl , both cooked to perfection. The side salad pictured was amazing with their house vinaigrette dressing. Charles was very attentive and provided great service and conversation.

This is a local favorite. Great atmosphere. I sat at the bar, they were busy. I ordered the ribeye steak, med rare. It came out medium. The beans were good. I do love the light fixtures.

Our early date night was fabulous. The country charm of Fantail has been upscaled. Frank Sinatra played in the background and we enjoyed the steak and the gumbo special along with excellent sides and dessert. Our waitress, Cynthia, was fabulous! She was caring and attentive without being overwhelming and she helped us with our indecisiveness as we ogled over the menu. She even packaged by extra gumbo up with ice to last through our long drive after dinner. We’re making plans to return and bring friends with us.

Wife & I decided to give Epicure & Jack's Tavern a try on a Saturday evening. Arriving around 6:30pm, we did not have to wait for a table more than a couple of minutes. Our server, PeeWee, quickly took our drink orders and put in for an appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes. My wife got the Bikini Martini and I asked for an Old Fashioned. While I enjoyed my drink, my wife was not a fan of hers. The FGTs were excellent and we very much enjoyed them before our entrees. She had the Red Jumbo Shrimp Platter and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Both of us asked for the Senior portion and found both entrees to be plenty of food. The cocktail sauce for her shrimp was excellent, and she enjoyed both the shrimp and the side of fries. I thought the chicken was seasoned very well and complimented the pasta nicely. The marinara sauce was good, not extraordinary. Overall, we were both very satisfied with the quality of food and portion size. The service provided by PeeWee during our visit was very good. He was friendly, answered questions and was knowledgeable of the menu items and restaurant. Good dude! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the waiting area and the restaurant. It's obvious that the owner has put a lot of time and effort into crafting a somewhat eclectic and interesting atmosphere. There's pictures/paintings on the ceiling, seafaring decor around the place and many antique pieces. Pretty cool. Oh, and a H.R. Giger painting in the men's bathroom LOL. The tavern side of the place has a substantial bar and was somewhat raucous with the number of people in there along with a small jazz band. Overall, a very unique and cool vibe. We look forward to our next visit to try other drinks and food!

Just walking around the place and looking at everything something‘s dated as far back as the 1800s was enough to make me happy that we stopped. The food was good. The fried okra was fabulous. Wish I had ordered more. The waitress and all the workers were very friendly. My wife and I both walked around the whole place, which is quite large and looked at things on the walls and even on the ceiling. There’s a Native American arrowhead collection at the front desk that is the largest that I have seen. I wouldn’t be surprised if we stopped here again. It is definitely somewhere that everyone should try at least once just for the experience! And one more thing we got the one made and three sides special. The senior price was cheaper so we got it. My wife said she’s glad we got the senior person because it was even more than she could eat.

My husband and I stopped in to visit over lunch with a childhood friend. We selected our own table and Taylor swung by to get us comfy. She helped give menu info and was very accommodating. Anytime we wanted something she appeared table side to help us. We stayed for dessert and more conversation. She was very welcoming and friendly. She even showed me to a larger handicapped washroom. By the way, the decor and atmosphere are great! But Taylor is awesome at making it a great experience!

Okay this place is awesome. Autumn what's the highlight of our visit. David the owner is absolutely awesome. This restaurant is totally worth stopping by and checking out. The food is incredible. We had the blackened shrimp and the low country boil. The red shrimp are awesome. Then you have the drink menu. I strongly recommend getting a flight of beers and being able to try some of their incredible selections. Our favorites were the pineapple Hula and the Lacto-Kooler. It was so fun being able to try all the different flavors. Please tell Autumn that David and Karen say hi. And if you get the chance to see David the owner definitely say hi.
