Overall I had a pleasant experience at this hotel and will stay here again. The room was immaculate with no defects I could see. Large flat screen was nice. I asked a nice lady at the front desk for some water bottles. She stopped what she was doing and helped me. She is very friendly. The digital check in, checkout and digital room key worked flawlessly.

Easily the worst experience with Hilton staff I have ever experienced. How there people can find there way to work and back without getting lost I’m not sure. Abjectly unhelpful, comically rude. Worst Hilton stay of my life and I was only stuck in this nothing of a town for 12 hours. Would have gotten more polite service from a family of raccoons had I stayed with them out back in the woods. Could not be more dissatisfied.

This is a new hotel in Evergreen, AL so it is very clean. The king bed was comfortable and came with four pillows. When we called the front desk to request a couple more pillows we were told they didn't have any. There was an extra blanket in the closet. The hotel provides two towel sets which wasn't enough for us in August in Alabama. We did receive extra towel sets when requested. There is no concierge so you have to go down to the front desk to pick up the towels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shower pressure was a bit low but worked well with hot water at the ready. There was no bathtub, just walk in shower. The breakfast was normal HI fare. AC was good, with a thermostat on the wall. Housekeeping only emptied the garbage cans and replaced soaps. They did not make the bed or otherwise straighten up. Not sure if this was policy or oversight. There was a small outdoor pool which we didn't use that looked very clean. There is also a fitness room. There's not a lot to do in Evergreen, but we hit a junk shop and found some interesting things. Also visited a local sausage place, Conecuh Sausage Company, but we couldn't bring our dog in there. My bf checked it out and reports it has food and gifts. We ordered delivery from Shrimp Basket which is just one block away. The Dasher couldn't find us (!) so the fried oysters got soggy. We had a good sandwich on the outdoor patio at The Shack where we were able to bring our dog. We would definitely stay there again, and it met our expectations for a Hampton Inn and had the bonus of being new.

Positives: Location, it’s right off the highway and near several restaurants. Negatives: Staff, if you can find the staff and they aren’t on speakerphone…. Good luck getting anything other than a bad attitude and a look of constant confusion as if it’s their first day(it’s not). The cleaning staff do have a cool trick, they set the dead bolt on the room they are cleaning. This allows them to go in and out and let the door slam against it constantly, creating additional noise which is in competition with their obnoxiously loud conversations. It’s a brand new hotel so it’s still very clean and in good repair but the overall fit and finish of the rooms is sub-par at best, so they won’t last long. Numerous visible cracks in the tile, showers, fixtures, and horrible trim work throughout. Have stayed here on two separate occasions and it’s been the same standard of customer care. Also, if you’d like a cigarette, just bum one off the staff who’s smoking right outside the door so the odor drifts into the hotel.

There is no signage at the exits that there were any hotels in the area but thankfully this new hotel was here because there wasn’t a next town for another 70+ miles, and we needed to stop for the night. Apparently it just opened a week ago. The hotel is nice. Clean for the most part. There is upfront Disability parking though limited. The entrance is accessible. The rooms however have a few issues that are an interesting choice for them to have made 🤔 The bathrooms don’t actually have doors. They have sliding ones on a rail. There is no locking the bathroom door. There leaves room for cracks in the bathroom door that someone can peak through. Not to mention how hard it is to close as there is no actual handle inside the bathroom itself. It’s super heavy and hard to close. The tub is low rise for easier access in and out. There is also a handle bar inside the tub on the wall. Large shower head and shampoo conditioner/ body wash mounted on the wall but not accessible to the disabled if sitting in the tub or shower chair. They provide plenty of towels, toilet paper, hair drier, tissues, body lotion, and hand soap. Towels are not ada accessible, nor is the lotion and hand soap. Everything was clean except for the mini fridge. It had someone’s left over Buc-ee’s banana pudding 🥴 Beds are comfortable and they provide a tv and plenty of space for clothing and items. There is a desk/table to eat and do work at.

Hotel: Hampton Inn Evergreen, Alabama Review Title: No Tea in Sight – A Surprising Miss for Tea Lovers Tea Rating: 1/5 Tea Leaves (Solely based on tea quality, availability, and hot water suitability) This otherwise lovely hotel falls short in one critical area: tea. There was no tea available in the room—no bags, no kettle setup geared for it. The lobby had none either, and breakfast offered zero tea options. A thermos of hot water was present, seemingly for hot chocolate, but without tea to pair it with, it felt like a missed opportunity. As a tea enthusiast, I was surprised by the complete omission of this delightful, flavored caffeine beverage from the Camellia sinensis plant. American hotels can do better by stocking basic black, green, or herbal teas in rooms and at breakfast, ensuring dedicated hot water dispensers (not shared with coffee to avoid flavor crossover), and training staff on proper setup. I’d love to see Hampton Inn lead the way—adding these would make a world of difference for travelers like me. Clean, comfortable stay overall, but the tea absence is a dealbreaker until fixed.

The white girl screaming at me to not leave because she says I didn't pay for my room needs to be fired. I showed her proof I payed the day before and it was through Priceline on top of that you had my card on file because of incident fees. Have a good day

Front desk was extremely rude. The shower was dirty and the furniture didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly since it was installed.
